2D 3D CHARACTER

Tencent invited us to create a concept video for their music platform QQX. The project involves 2D, 3D, stop-motion, frame-by-frame animation and illustration, to express audio.

We created a trendy young music fan character, equipped with headphones and musical symbol accessories. Bright color contrast and minimalist flat illustration style intuitively convey the vitality and auditory imagination brought by music.

Adopting flat vector illustration style, with grey base and striking green accents, this work builds a trendy youth living space. It integrates diverse hobbies such as music and sports into the frame to convey an immersive and free auditory lifestyle.

Combining flat geometric style with stop-motion texture, the design adopts blue tones. Lines and abstract geometry build a rhythmical musical space, and exaggerated character movements interpret the explosive vitality of sound, expressing emotional release brought by music.
